Record Relief with New Leaf @ North Lawndale Employment Network

We’re inviting anyone interested in clearing their records to join North Lawndale Employment Network, New Leaf Illinois, and the Illinois Coalition to End Permanent Punishments at our Records Sealing & Expungement Workshop! This free event is designed to help individuals better understand their options for sealing or expunging eligible records. Participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an attorney who will review their individual case and explain what may or may not be eligible for sealing or expungement under Illinois law.

While waiting to meet with an attorney, attendees can participate in a presentation focused on understanding their rights when they have a criminal record, including information about employment & housing discrimination, as well as other important protections. Registration is strongly encouraged, though not required, as it helps us plan for attendance and ensure we have adequate resources available. Whether you’re just beginning to explore record relief or are ready to take the next step, we encourage you to join us and learn more about your options.
